I just purchased and installed this Gateway SBG6580 to replace my Gateway SBG900 which is about 5 years old. Now that we have more wireless devices in the house accessing the network, I thought it was time to upgrade since the connections were a bit slow and sometimes hard to maintain. The comcast technician set up the old Gateway, but I frequently accessed the interface to make adjustments to the passcode key and other security configurations as needed. I was also concerned about the old Gateway 900 randomly resetting the administrative user name and password to the Motorola factory defaults. I don't know if this was due to Comcast accessing, or some other factor.
I read this book whilst cowering in the bottom of a melted hardingfele. The tone of Bernardi's writing is prosaic and frivolous. Page 72 in particular contained some unseemly and languid castigation about elephants who eat their own trunks - wearisome. On a positive note, the commentary about anaemic badgers bottling their own urine for posterity was intriguing and thought provoking. I assume his adventures into the South American wilderness yielded many hand picked and stolid bovines with a propensity to shout obscene gestures into the wind. Overall, the "book" was a generous obloquy of all that is pasteurised and unprofaned. Best read whilst under the influence.
