This book has something that I didn't want to put down (and read it in one sitting). Something that keeps me flippin' my kindle pages and makes me happy, excited and swoony reading it. A storyline that just made me freaking melt.
It definitely works. I was a little worried the first time I tried it because my face was super red and burned after I took it off. But when I woke up the next day it was completely fine. It just takes off the hair at the surface though so it does grow back pretty quick, but it's nice and smooth for a couple of weeks.
Great!!!! Love the quick banana shakes. Easy to clean, don't have to be rocket scientist to put to use. Love it.
Craig Johnson's Longmire series has been a favorite of mine for awhile. I enjoyed this newest addition, but I don't think it's as good as others in the series. The usual crew and the humorous banter is there, but there's no American Indian mysticism and not much sense of place as in previous books. I miss that.
Hmmm...well I don't know. I have had one since Nov of last year. I don't print much. But this morning I tried to print 3 bank statements and it crapped out. So maybe I got a bum one. I don't know. But I can get a brand new laser printer for about $100. So maybe I do that instead.
This book is meant for one thing: to give you a basic understanding of the principles of radio, and the basics that the FCC requires you to know to pass the test and get your amateur radio license. While this book doesn't give you what you might like to learn about radio functionality, how to connect to local repeaters, talking with people via simplex, it doesn't advertise itself as one that does. What it does advertise for is preparing you for the licensing exam, and it's very effective. The question pool is laid out in chapters that make sense as a group, and concepts are discussed that explain the correct answer. Using the included CD-ROM practice tests was a great way for me to be prepared and score highly the first time. This is a fantastic book at a great value, and I highly recommend it to any new amateur radio folks.
