A quick short read. Julia is a friendly lovely lady who tries to befriend her neighbor Cain. In one of the scenes that starts out the book they are in the elevator together and she tries small talk with her him only to get a grunt. So it continues until her friend Cammie tells her kill him with kindness. So this how story continues and she is killing him with kindness she writes a blog calling him Ebenezer. Her challenge is to see if his meanness will change before christmas. As always with Ms. Macomber her books are touching and reaches a part of the heart that makes it warm all over. Wonderful read. From a long time Quicken user (1994) I agree that the 2011 version has not been as problematic for me as I've seen in other reviews. I updated from the 2009 version and even with the required file conversion, all my transactions from 2007 on converted flawlessly. I don't keep information on my PC beyond a few years, Im sure my archived data will convert if needed in the future. There is a small learning curve to find the small changes in the procedures, features and menu locations. I expect this so when those changes do occur from one version to another, it's no big deal.
I purchased this product for its plaque removal promise...without brushing ! It works but the dog's teeth also need to be brushed. I've been brushing my dogs teeth daily since she was 9 weeks old and giving her teeth cleaning chews daily...She's now over 5 years old. Her teeth are clean and her breath is always fresh but I thought I may have found a product that would be quicker and easier to use...Not so. However this product does work more efficiently than doggie toothpastes and is less messy. Also, although my dog has never had nasty smelly breath, I think that Tropiclean leaves her breath even sweeter. I will continue to use Tropiclean until find a product that does not require brushing, although I doubt such a product exists !
I've used the bag on a few 2-3 day trips. In terms of clothing and toiletries, there's more than enough space, and the compression straps keep your clothes from shifting too much. If you are carrying dress shirts, though, they have to be in a packing folder or they'll get squashed. I was hoping the Wingman would be a single bag to replace a carry-on and duffel, but it essentially is a backpack-duffel with a laptop sleeve. There's no way to access any pockets while carrying it, and there's no great place for phone, keys, or pens. The shoulder carry-strap is absurdly long, and shortening it completely still leaves it too low to be comfortable. Essentially I have to use it as a backpack. As a backpack however, the weight distribution is too low, and with no waist belt, it cuts into your neck after a short while. I've always used the 'shoe' compartment on my Co-pilot for toiletries, but when doing so on the Wingman, it gets smashed when I take it off since it's on the bottom. In terms of overall size, there's no way to put in under the seat in front, and I'd be hesitant to put it in the overhead leaving my laptop in it. In terms of construction, the bag is a lighter-weight rip-stop outer, with a nylon interior shell. Unlike the co-pilot, it has no 'body'. Simply put, it's a big, floppy, nylon mess. This wouldn't bother me so much, but unless it's completely fully, it's actually not that easy to zip. The compression straps pull from the sides, so even if the bag is full, the bag is still a little loose, and deforms the zipper paths.
Worked well. Just be careful not to hold it against your skin for too long like I did - ouch! Got rid of the wart though.
