Department of Drug Design and Pharmacology – University of Copenhagen - We focus on the discovery, design, development and pharmacology of new drugs, and the training of future pharmacists and drug design experts.

  • http://drug.ku.dk/research/npp/ Natural Products and Peptides – University of Copenhagen - We specialise in modern drug design inspired by nature – traditionally an important source of medicines – and investigate compounds from plants, fungi and other living organisms.
  • http://drug.ku.dk/research/medicinal-chemistry-research/ Medicinal Chemistry Research – University of Copenhagen - We design, synthesise and investigate molecules that target receptors, transporters, enzymes as well as signalling proteins in the brain.
  • http://drug.ku.dk/research/ep/ Experimental Pharmacology – University of Copenhagen - We study the pharmacology of receptor and transporter targets using experimental techniques spanning from molecular pharmacology to in vivo testing in animals and human clinical trials.
  • http://drug.ku.dk/research/biostructural_research/ Biostructural Research – University of Copenhagen - We determine three-dimensional structures of human biological macro-molecules that are potential targets for new drugs, and study the relationship between their structure and function.
  • http://drug.ku.dk/research/pharmacotherapy/ Pharmacotherapy – University of Copenhagen - We seek to elucidate the factors that influence patients’ individual responses to drug substances, with the aim of optimising the treatment and safety for each patient.
  • http://drug.ku.dk/research/cbp/ Biopharmaceuticals – University of Copenhagen - Center for Biopharmaceuticals at Department of Drug Design and Pharmacology. With cutting-edge chemical biology aproaches we aim to create peptides and proteins with novel properties in order to develop advanced protein-based drug candidates. The Center for Biopharmaceuticals builds on the strong multidisciplinary relationship between the Department of Drug Design and Pharmacology and the Department of Pharmacy – the two pharmaceutical departments within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. The Center opened on 1 January 2014 and has received a 'beacon' grant of 35 million DKK from the University of Copenhagen over the next five years for studies in protein medicinal chemistry.

  • Valdez - Taste

This doesn't taste bad like everyone claims. For those of you not adding this to water you all should put the oil into capsules and not straight in your mouth. When you add this to water it's very good, even in carbonated water. A couple of drops will do ya, but if you're out for a punch I suggest the capsules. I haven't used this product enough to comment on loosing any weight so perhaps I'll update after some more use.

  • Jay Wojnas - With that said I am very disappointed with Sole

I will start off by saying I bought my treadmill from another vendor. With that said I am very disappointed with Sole. I had my treadmill for a month and then it started making a very loud banging noise. I called the 800 number and they said they thought it was the roller. So after waiting about a week and a half I got the part. When the tech got here and took the machine apart it was actually the belt. So almost 2 weeks later I got the correct part. Now the tech cannot come out for another week and a half. So I have had my treadmill 2 months and it has been broken for half of that time. I was looking to buy an elliptical as well and was looking at Sole. I will now buy another brand. It is great to have an awesome warranty. But only if there is follow through and you actually get people's treadmills fixed. So buy this treadmill if you hope it never breaks. Because if it does you will be waiting forever to get it fixed.

  • Gaji - A good read for political junkies

There's a serious advantage in reading a book describing an election, written by an outsider rather than an insider - the outsider rarely has as much of an agenda. In this case, Dan Balz provides an excellent description of the 2012 presidential elections - the Republican primaries and the general elections. The book contains both the big story arcs - the Democrats' efforts at defining Romney and Romney's attempts at casting Obama's record in a certain light (it is a sad reflection on all of us, the voters, that the campaigns deemed this a more effective tool than presenting their candidates and their own ideas). The book also contains some anecdotes from the campaign trail, such as Romney's son's apology to Obama after expressing he wanted to punch him - an apology gracefully presented and gracefully accepted.

  • Shval999 - Great App

This is a great app, worth the price. I have tested the Qibla direction and timings at different places using GPS within USA and it works. Thanks to the developers.
