We had one of these crock pots a few years ago and it lasted a long time. However earlier this year it just sort of wore out and we wanted to replace it with a new cock pot about the same size. The problem is that the replacement lasted only a couple of months before it also stopped working, We then replaced it with the third crock pot of this brand. It barely lasted a month before having the same issue as the others we have experience with -- it just won't turn on. After 3 of these not working, we have changed brands.
I don't understand why people think that this is sloughing off dead skin, it is the material of the gel that starts to clump together not your actual skin doing that. You would have to be using a chemical peel to have that effect on your skin. I honestly did not notice any difference in my face using it. The consistency actually kind of irks me out.
Great for slicing cheese. To bad I don't like cheese. My only disappointment is that it doesn't have a golf club. Some day I might want to learn to play golf.
I bought this last week and have only been able to use it a few times so far. I love it & can tell it really is rejeuvenating the skin. My skin looks like it has been resurfaced whenever I use it!
