You must be very careful with this great tool, because it is very easy to get carried away and overdo the exfoliation. Go slow! It is waterproof and can be used in the shower. I am handicapped and have had a build up of callus on my elbow and parts of my feet. With this tool, I can attach it to my grabber/reacher and in a very time, my rough spots are taken care of. Works great, considering the battery does take hours to charge. The battery lasts about 100 feet of 1 foot tall weeds/grass. So I would image your average height grass it would last 300 lineal feet easy. I suggest the extra battery.
